The Pearl PE-10 Parametric Equalizer is a compact pedal that provides three overlapping parametric bands, each with its own frequency, bandwidth, and level controls. The frequency knobs sweep through a wide range to target specific tonal areas, while the bandwidth (Q) adjustment narrows or widens the affected frequency range, and the level control boosts or cuts the selected frequencies by up to 15 dB. This allows for precise surgical tone shaping, such as notching out resonant peaks or adding presence. The pedal operates with a standard 9V power supply and features true bypass switching to preserve the original signal when the effect is disengaged.
