The Foxx Foot Phaser combines a phaser and a volume pedal in one enclosure, with the treadle controlling both functions. Rocking the pedal forward increases the volume while also sweeping the phaser's filter frequency, and pulling it back decreases volume and shifts the sweep in the opposite direction. A rate knob adjusts the speed of the phaser's modulation, determining how quickly the notched filter peaks move through the audio spectrum. The effect can be blended with the dry signal using a mix control, allowing subtle or pronounced phase shifting.
