The Electro Harmonix Echo Flanger combines a flanger and an echo in one pedal, with the flanger section offering Rate and Depth controls that modulate the sweep speed and intensity of the comb-filtering effect. The echo side provides a Delay Time knob to set the spacing between repeats and a Feedback control to adjust how many repetitions occur before dying out. A Blend or Mix control balances the dry signal with the effected sound, allowing either effect to be used independently or together. The pedal features separate footswitches for engaging the flanger and echo, enabling each effect to be toggled on or off without affecting the other. An Expression pedal input allows real-time control over the delay time, letting the player sweep the echo pitch or create tape-style stutter effects. The unit operates on a standard 9V DC power supply and includes true bypass switching for transparent signal integrity when disengaged.
