The DeArmond Weeper is a wah pedal that uses a treadle to sweep a band-pass filter across the frequency spectrum. Rocking the pedal forward raises the filter's center frequency, producing a brighter, more piercing tone, while rocking it back lowers the frequency for a darker, muffled sound. The pedal's effect is engaged and bypassed by stepping on the treadle's toe switch, which also serves to activate the filter sweep.
